BAND TO WATCH: VILLA COLA (London, England)
Villa Cola, a London based band, have hit the ground running. This threesome is comprised of Ranya Dubé (Vocals), Paul Bateman (Bass), Alex Watson (Drums). Majorly influenced by the 80s, punk and rock n' roll genres, Villa Cola have managed to fuse these sounds together creating music with deep punk roots, rock n' roll vocal stylings and hard hitting synth beats.
YOUNG AND TALENTED: HOT VESTRY (Macclesfield, England)
Hot Vestry are an Experimental Rock band from Macclesfield, England. They formed in 2009 and consist of Harry Ward (Bass Guitar, Synthesizer and Vocals), Will Taylor (Lead Guitar, Percussion and Vocals) and Joe Ward (Drums and Percussion) They have played all around the north-west, including several venues in Manchester, most recently, Club Academy. The trio's success is even more impressive when taken into account there age, all three are just 16. The bands enigmatic and energetic performances haven't gone un-noticed and have won the band much deserved praise.
On 4 July 2010 they released their first EP, Life Is For Leisure, as a free download. The band followed this up in December with Hot Vestry EP, comprising two re-recordings and a new track: Be The Real Man. On the 13 March 2011 they released their second EP, Dust. The EP contains two re-recordings and 3 brand new songs, these include: Turn On, Blood For Tears and Dust.

The theme that unites the whole story is the duality of human beings, femininity and masculinity inherent, wanted to talk about how to get a foothold in this present time, restoring the importance of femininity in men, and the importance to women In a society governed by the Catholic Church, the largest patriarchy.
The apple brings to mind "the apple of Adam and Eve", but is not, this symbol for me has a special meaning, the meaning I give is the purity, therefore, the woman or the female side is that emerges victorious at the end of the video, because she can "mix" with this purity, while the man in his violence is not able to hold hands and destroys it.
Also this purity is related with the mankind approaching to their animal side"
